Practical Training

In each city, the internship participant is fully integrated into the work of an international trading company and operates as part of the operational team, not as an observer.

During the internship, the trainee:

• Participates in the analysis of real import-export projects and trade cases
• Works with international suppliers and manufacturing companies
• Conducts business correspondence within cross-border transactions
• Takes part in selecting delivery terms and analyzing logistics scenarios (Incoterms® 2020)
• Analyzes markets, competitive environments, and distribution channels
• Participates in supplier evaluation and verification in terms of legal and commercial reliability
• Works with commercial offers, cost calculations, and trade profitability analysis
• Becomes familiar with the structure of international contracts and export documentation
• Participates in discussions on risks: logistics, currency, contractual, and operational
• Learns to make management decisions under conditions of uncertainty and limited information

The internship is built on the learning by doing principle — training through direct participation in real international trade processes, with case analysis and feedback from mentors.

Each participant completes the program with their own project:

• Selected product
• Market analysis (China, Southeast Asia, Middle East, or CIS)
